Hi Amy,
Yes we do. Contracts, parent notification to exposure, and hold harmless are required.
I am happy to share our documents and practice with you if you are interested. Let me know, and I will provide my contact info.
Thanks!MareesaParticipantHi Peace,
Aside from the items that I completely agree with mentioned by Jude and LeRoy, I would also recommend reviewing the excluded activities in your MOC. When this was requested in my District, the exclusions in our coverage were another supporting factor for denial.
I am unsure what JPA you participate in, however, I have the exclusions for SDJPA and SCR. The “RED LIGHT list” is events that are prohibited as they may be excluded from the District’s insurance coverage. Paintball is an excluded activity and an excluded event activity for facility users.MareesaParticipantYes we do. This website will provide the requirements. https://www.cde.ca.gov/re/di/eo/genequitytitleix.asp
Our Title IV Coordinator is our Director of Student Services.
Hope this helps..February 28, 2022 at 10:31 am in reply to: Light Duty for Substitutes (Certificated & Classified) #21988MareesaParticipantHi Jeff,
Yes, we do accommodate subs in our return to work program. IF they decline to participate, they are in an unpaid status if they have no accrued sick.MareesaParticipantWe use AED total solutions. https://www.aedtotalsolution.com/
They supply a comprehensive program and offer a platform to submit AED checks through an app. They also auto-send replacement pads and batteries when they expire. The program is effortless and has saved so much staff time.
