Judy,
You have been a great mentor and I’m so thankful for that chance to meet on the shuttle bus to CJAPA! I am so excited to see what you do in “rewirement”.See you soon, Jeanne
JeanneParticipantYes, Springs Charter Schools is still notifying students and staff of potential exposure. We also are required to report all exposures to our insurance carrier as required by SB 1159.
JeanneParticipantHi Sean,
Our school uses https://iloveuguys.org/ they have free resources for standard response protocols and training. We provide a lockdown bucket from More Prepared that has hygiene supplies. Under the bucket, we have 2 cases of Blue Can 50-year water and an Evac Backpack with supplies for the classroom and meeting rooms where students are present. I have attended 3 iloveuguys workshops and highly recommend them. We have them coming out to provide training with our staff this July.Jeanne Schaffner
Risk Manager, Springs Charter SchoolsJeanneParticipantOur Superintendent scheduled zoom meetings with our Facilities & Risk Managers with each site location to review their site security in place (we use a rating system) and then ask for any other concerns that we may be missing to harden our buildings.
JeanneParticipantI couldn’t agree more. Congratulations on your “Rewirement”!
JeanneParticipantOur district has both fleet cars that staff take home and some that are parked at the schools. We have to report our work-driven miles monthly. Our employee’s W2’s are increased based on the taxable fringe benefit of the vehicle/personal miles driven. Attached is our Fleet Policy.
