We purchased FloFlex COVID-19 rapid tests. They do have other ones that are actually cheaper, but they were out of them at the time.

We received free rapid test kits from LACOE on Monday. We plan to use those for students. We also purchased 5000 rapid test kits for our staff from another company for $12.50 each.

Our JPA safety consultant offers this training to our staff every 2 years. This includes a 2-hour classroom training and a 10 minute on-the-wheel training per staff member.

We just purchased 2000 Picture at-Home tests from Fulgent. We are actually handing them out this morning to parents and staff.

We recently had a teacher provide restrictions of no mask wearing. In the accommodations meeting, the teacher actually suggested wearing two face shields in lieu of a mask. We checked with out district nurse, who confirmed that one face shield is not a replacement for a mask, but two face shields, one facing up and one facing down with the top one tucking into the bottom one will be acceptable. So we accommodated her restrictions with two face shields.

We are having staff and students complete an online health assessment form before coming to school. In addition to this, we provided several handheld thermometers for each school, and at least one temperature scanner (see attachment).
