With students back on campuses, and the extreme heat. Are you activating your drinking water fountains?
Readers must check with their own departments of public health for specifics in your area:
Yes, we are uncovering/unwrapping our drinking fountains, with a full cleaning as they have not been used in over a year AND running them thoroughly beforehand to ensure water lines are fully flushed.
PS. Los Angeles County Department of Public Health answered that very question yesterday, OK to uncover drinking fountains but can also still encourage reusable container usage by students.
