We have been conducting temperature checks using hand held devices for our small cohorts. Now that we are expanding to a hybrid model for summer school I am looking for alternatives. Who is/will be conducting temperature checks, what method/vendor are you using? If using thermal cameras are you directing students through a building or tent/structure or do the cameras work outside?
Thank you

We are using a passive temperature check with the parents assuming the responsibility to NOT send their child to work sick. Once the child is in the classroom, should the teacher see they do not look well, the child is removed, the a parent contacted and contact tracing done to see if there was exposure by one of our school nurses.
We may use temperature kiosk for areas where large departments walk through: Central Kitchen, Building Services, District Office.
We have all employees who report to work self certify via our INSITE app; RAPTOR will ask the self certification questions of parents and visitors once we open for outsiders.
The only group we gave temperature devices to were Athletics, although we have begun testing them.

In addition to this, we provided several handheld thermometers for each school, and at least one temperature scanner (see attachment).
