I know several of us are in a bind due to a bus driver shortage. We are in the process of offering parents compensation for transporting their own students so in response we have drafted a letter to parents explaining the current situation we are facing. My question for the group would be, other than a release of liability for self transportation to school, are there any other foreseeable issues you have experienced and have drafted a response?
I would say that would not fall under AB5/ ABC test. (The worker is customarily engaged in an independently established trade, occupation, or business of the same nature as that involved in the work performed)
