Hello team, I am looking for additional information or advice on a FENCING CLUB. We have a group of students interested in starting a “Fencing” club on our campus. They have a Teacher Advisor on campus and have begun the process to be approved by ASB. To my knowledge they are interested in eventually using a fencing “weapon” or “Epee” as a component of this campus club. Would this even be allowed? I know that other clubs (drill teams, ROTC, …) use weapon-like objects but wanted a bit more guidance with this club.
Please share any guidelines on what can and cannot occur with this type of club.
