    Our city recently reduced all crossing guards from its budget. I’m interested in knowing if any Districts hire crossing guards. If no, does your District allow volunteers to be crossing guards. Thanks!

    We currently have All City Management for crossing guards.

    As an extra duty, our supervision aides or instructional aides can sign up for crossing guard duties. We provide them with Keenan Safe School Training modules and follow the guidelines in the California Crossing Guard Training Program which I have attached for your reference.
